Bethpage Water District (BWD) Board of Commissioners William Ellinger, John Sullivan and Gary Bretton invite the Bethpage community to attend the Bethpage Fair and learn about the new digital water meter system "EyeOnWater." The BWD booth will highlight the system"s new features such as an email alert system that warns residents of any leaks or complications.

New Online Portal for Residents to Track Water Usage
The new online, radio read meter system "EyeOnWater," helps residents better recognize trends within their daily water usage quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, residents can view any detected problems via the new digital monitoring account, and will receive alerts in the event of a leak. Residents can look forward to more improvements in the future, including a new mobile application.

The Bethpage Water District Files Lawsuit Against Northrop Grumman
Bethpage, NY - The Bethpage Water District, represented by the law firm of Weitz and Luxenburg, P.C., announced that it has filed a formal lawsuit against Northrop Grumman Corporation in Federal Court. The suit charges that the aerospace company caused “irreparable harm” to the aquifer, which is the source of the community’s drinking water supply, by creating a toxic plume that affects the groundwater.
