WATER SERVICE LINE SURVEY

The Bethpage Water District takes proactive steps and measures to continually safeguard our community’s water supply.

As part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revision, water suppliers across America are required to take a full inventory of all public and private water lines to determine whether they are lead, copper or galvanized.

HELP US HELP YOU

The District is requesting the help of our customers to determine what type of water service line you have inside your home. The Bethpage Water District is required to submit a thorough inventory of all water service lines within our District to the EPA, determining whether they are copper, lead, or galvanized. Compiling this inventory helps us determine if remediation is necessary of lead service lines.
