Our new meter system is a radio read system whereby a central computer can read the entire town’s meters every day within minutes. This gives us a great tool to see the consumption and pinpoint and stop leaks before they become costly to the homeowner or the district.
Eye on Water is an application that is part of this new metering system. You can access it through a desktop or a free mobile app. If you need to register, you can do so athttps://eyeonwater.beaconama.net/signup. When signing up, please remember to use the dash in the account number.
If you are already registered, you can log on at https://beaconama.net.You can download the free app on iTunes or google play. The application gives the homeowner access to their hourly consumption and allows you to set up a leak alert to pinpoint unwanted or continuous usage. Water usage is something that we all take for granted and don’t realize how much we use but if we see it in an hourly bar graph, it puts it into perspective how much, when and how we utilize our water.
