The Bethpage Water District is proud to announce the launch of its new Facebook and Twitter pages. The launch marks the District’s first venture into the use of social media as a way to communicate with its customers. The Bethpage Water District Facebook page can be found at facebook.com/BethpageWaterDistrict and its Twitter page can be found at twitter.com/BethpageW.
“All of us at the Bethpage Water District see great potential in being able to connect with our fellow residents in a more personal way with the launch of our Facebook and Twitter pages,” said John R. Sullivan, Treasurer of the Bethpage Water District. “We want the members of our community to be able to communicate with us directly in an easy, familiar and accessible way with any questions or concerns they may have.”
The Bethpage Water District Facebook and Twitter pages will provide customers with the latest updates on the Bethpage Water supply including infrastructure improvements and conservation tips during the warm summer months. Community members will be able to tweet @BethpageW and comment on the Bethpage Water Facebook wall. The pages will be actively updated and monitored to act as a two way channel of communication between the District and its residents.
