The Bethpage Water District (BWD) is making great progress on several major projects to enhance infrastructure and protect our community’s drinking water. A new ISEP system for nitrate and perchlorate removal is scheduled for startup on December 15, adding another layer of treatment to meet evolving water-quality standards. “These upgrades reflect our unwavering commitment to providing the highest-quality water to our residents,” said Chairman of the Board, John F. Coumatos. “We’re advancing technologies to strengthen our systems not only for today, but into the future.”
