In celebration of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage State Park, the Bethpage Water District installed six commemorative fire hydrants—four located on the grounds of the historic Bethpage Black golf course and two in the Business District on Broadway. Each hydrant features full-color imagery of the official Ryder Cup 2025 logo on one side, and the Bethpage Water District’s 100th Anniversary logo showcasing the iconic Bethpage Water Tower on the other.
The initiative reflects the District’s 100-plus-year legacy of unwavering commitment to public safety and community pride. These hydrants ensure that fire departments and rescue teams have immediate access to water in the event of an emergency. Park facilities are served by the Bethpage Water District, ensuring a continual supply of high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds local, state and federal guidelines…without interruption.
Clow Valve, a division of McWane, Inc., headquartered in Oskaloosa, Iowa, manufactured and donated the commemorative hydrants displayed during this international golf competition.
Founded in 1923, the Bethpage Water District recently celebrated 100 years of service. Today, its water treatment facilities rank among the most technologically advanced in the nation.
