The Water District uses Pace Analytical Labs in Farmingdale. They are an independently owned, State certified laboratory approved to analyze our water samples. The laboratory has its own stringent guidelines to meet to maintain its certification including frequent external auditing and calibration of the monitoring equipment.
Does anyone else check the Bethpage Water District Water?
Yes. The Nassau County Department of Health routinely samples the district in random locations including our main office with our Elevated Storage Tank to ensure the sample results submitted to them by our lab are accurate. They use a different laboratory than the one the Water District uses.
